Hello Ed,
I was wondering why you hadn't been posting yet this winter and was getting concerned you weren't well..! I learned this morning via Google searches that you were caught up in the floods in your area and were evacuated for a time. Sorry to hear that! I suppose you are still working on cleaning up from that. My wife & I went through our first mandatory evacuation this summer due to flooding as well, though we were lucky regarding losses.
Anyway, I hope your home is restored and you are well.
I hope your home is in decent shape Ed..!

Yes, I've been burning the candle at both ends since the flood. My garden level basement was flooded to within 18 inches of the ceiling and four foot of mud/sand needed to be shoveled out of the basement.
Now, I am installing a new sewer line to the city main line and things are freezing up. The connection at the city main is two feet below the water table.
Didn't want to post this here but it has the best pictures showing the damage:

I was afraid it was something like that, but at least the house wasn't washed away..? I'm not sure what to say to be supportive! I've sent a small donation.
I've never seen a computer in that condition before..!
I hope you can get the sewer line installed before winter hits full force.

Thanks Martin, I'll be heading out to work on the sewer line soon and have the weekend to finish it... I'm hopeful. Luckily I was raised in the cold country and know what it takes.
