1st solo build.8ft. the dvd help a lot thanks. I went up to bells 1st fall in Utah 1.5 mile started at 3pm and moved in at 1100pm. It was a lot of fun.

Nice looking igloo but I like the location the most, nice perch!
It's been a few years since I've built an eight footer solo but it is a lot of work.
Lately I've been building an 7' 11" igloo by extending the top pole all the way with the seven foot pole setup. It depends what you want though as it is short and would only get shorter with time.
